A Study on the Relationship between Nursing manager`s transformational leadership, Empowerment of Nurses and Attitude of Nursing performance in Long-term Care Hospitals

Abstract
This study is intended to analyze the effects of nursing manager`s transformational leadership and nurse empowerments on attitude of nursing performances. The subjects of this study were 160 nursing staff in Long-term Care Hospital living in the areas of Daegu Metropolitan City, Gyeongbuk Province. this study utilized 140 as materials for sampling, and analyzed them. The results of this study are as follows. First, this study investigated the effects of nursing manager`s transformational leadership in the attitude of nursing performance, leading to the fact that transformational leadership had direct effects on attitude of nursing performances. Second, this study examined the effects of empowerment of nurses in the attitude of nursing performance, leading to the fact that empowerments had direct effects on attitude of nursing performances.
